CCG-Checklist: Series Edition

Mit der Series Edition des CCG fing 1995 alles an. Es gab Starter Packs mit 55 grundlegenden Karten, mit denen schon ein einfaches Spiel möglich war. Zudem enthielten die Starter vier Karten mit Spielregeln. Alle weiteren und vor allem selteneren Karten konnte man in Booster Packs á 15 Karten erwerben. Die Karten unterscheiden sich von späteren Expansions und der Movie Edition vor allem durch die eher trüben Farben der Bilder und das noch nicht sehr ausgeklügelte Design. Ab der Movie Edition gab es da eine echte Verbesserung.

Diese Edition ist auch in einem "Tin Set" erschienen. Die exklusivere Tin Set-Ausgabe beinhaltete grundsätzlich die gleichen Karten, allerdings sind alle Bilder wesentlich heller und farbiger. Einige Texte wurden auch überarbeitet, sowie die Änderungen aus den Errata übernommen. Erkennen kann man die Karten an den klareren Farben, die Generic-Karten haben zudem einen eher gelben Rahmen und soweit ich das sehen kann, sind die Tin Set-Karten nur einmal umrahmt, die normalen Karten jedoch doppelt. Zusätzlich enthielt das Tin Set 8 exklusive Nemesis-Karten, die es in der normalen Edition nicht gab.

Wenn man mal die Karten nebeneinander legt und vergleicht, fallen einem bei jeder vierten Karte kleine Änderungen am Text auf. Da für das Tin Set die Errata übernommen wurden, sind z.B. manche Dinge präziser ausgedrückt oder es werden für die Verwendung der Karte genauere Infos gegeben. Manchmal werden auch nur Details anders geschrieben (Bsp: "non-Ranged" statt "non-ranged") oder Sätze weggelassen (Bsp:"Duel is delayed."). Ich habe in der folgenden Liste aber nur die Änderungen speziell vermerkt, die sich auf die Kartenliste auswirken, also Änderung des Kartentyps (Bsp: Continuity jetzt "Situation" statt "Event") oder des Untertitels (Bsp: "Ancient Knowledge" zu "Special-Attack"). Durch das farbigere und glänzendere Aussehen der Karten ergibt sich im einzelnen ohnehin bei jeder Karte ein Unterschied.

Biete / Suche: Alle Karten, die ich aus dieser Edition anbiete, stammen aus der "normalen" Series Edition. Ich suche noch alle Karten des Tin Sets, vor allem die Nemesis-Karten und vorzugsweise als komplettes Tin Set.
